2nd September 2007 Windsurfing: Levington Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: up to 15 Surf / Sea State: slight chop Air Temperature: 20 Sea Temperature: 18 Weather: sunny periods Max Speed: 21.5 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 18.6 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Could'nt believe it arrived at our spot at Levington and nearly all the parking was taken by other windsurfers !!!! - only joking they were mates sailing there for the first time. I started with 8.5 on the carve with Rob on 7.5 on the lightning and we were both underpowered so I changed to the longboard as I could'nt be bothered to rig the 9.4.The others were going well especialy the two light sailers on smaller kit and Mark on his formula board with 8.5. Rob and I had a trip down the river to see the huge container ships at Felixstowe port and he also cracked a couple of waterstarts !!! A good two and a half hours sailing even though the wind was abit up and down. |
